Nice Start
This game is so much more fun when you have a 40-12 start to your fictional league season

If you don't mind sharing, in your fictional league(s), what has been ANY Team's best start overall? Is there one/any better than your 40-12 start or within the first 50 games of the season?

My fictional league is a mixture real MLB names and fictional Canadian city teams, all fictional players. I've seen no other starts like this in four years. Funny thing tho, the Cleveland Indians are doing the same. I am now 45-13 in the National League Central and Cleveland is 42-14. We both have a 12 game lead over second.

92 wins 38 losses now, early September. The Yankees have the same record. I'm only 7 games up with a pesky Cardinals team on my heals in my NL Central.

Ouch. That's a tough break. Hopefully you can make your team a little stronger for next season, and get some help from the DL gods.

I was the best team all year. What a bad break. #1 starter went out at the end of September with a 8 month injury. #2 starter is a clone of David Price in the playoffs. Pulled him early in 2 games (he led the league in ERA). Lost 3 other top players with injuries extending past the playoffs.
Have to let some guys go now as free agents because budget is maxed out. Semi rebuilding for next season. This game is to realistic. |
