Historical League All Stars
Newbie question
Thinking about starting a historical league with the Tigers. When it comes to the Amatuer Draft, assuming I have the settings setup to bring in real life players the year they entered the league, will their careers play out similarly? Is it possible they flop and never pan out? What about players that were drafted #1 overall and were complete flops in real life? Do they have a chance to be an all star or are they destined to be a flop?? |

Depends on your settings.
Recalc players ratings based on 1,3,5 years? 1 Year and players stats sill be more up and down as in real life, the other settings will smooth out their seasonal stats. Is player development on or off. If on, about anything can happen. Of course the players will have some seasons much better or much worse than real life but over a career, the Babe Ruth's, Willie Mays , etc. will rise to the top but there might be a couple surprises. |

Thanks for the tips.
I'm still not sure I understand the recalc function. If I leave it vs. if I recalc every year. Does that just impact player ratings relative to the recalced average? |
