Playoffs
Just made the playoffs in my first year in a Path to Glory game. I'm in the Elite Ice Hockey League or England. Where can I find the format for the playoffs? Does the game use the actual EIHL format which is really odd or does it use a default, basic format more like the NHL?
Also a question about my seed. I won my conference which (in the EIHL format) would make me the 2 seed even though my point total was 4th best in the league overall. The game gave me the 5th seed??? I would understand if it was the 2nd or the 4th seed but don't see how it came up with 5th. Minor thing though in a great game. |

I looked it up: we have the format (2-game quarter-final, 1-game semi-final and final) but the seeding is only based on the total standings, not the conferences. So if you are fourth in the total standings, you should get the 4th seed and play against the 5th seed. If that is not correct in your game, could you post a screenshot of the league standings so we can take a look?

That is the actual EIHL system but the conference champions get the top 2 seeds then it's overall record. Still pretty close, I guess the only thing that went wrong was I finished 4th overall and was seeded 5th but that didn't matter anyway since I played the same team anyway. The other weird thing was the top seed and second seed in the same half of the bracket but I think the EIHL reseeds after the first round anyway. |
