Negro League players

How do you incorporate the new Negro League players into the draft pool if you are playing a historical season? Even though I started my new league in 1921 and unchecked the "color barrier" option I have not seen any Negro League players incorporated into the league yet.

Do you have a draft or do rookie go to their historical team? Are all other rookies real? Are they in the FA pool?

Rookies do not go to their historic teams. I had a draft. I have an amateur player draft each year. I expected to start to see some of the Negro league players show up there but after 10 seasons they haven't.

They auto-incorporate by default unless one of your personal settings inadvertently blocks them.

Put everything back to default perhaps? Then change one thing at a time until you kill the negro players. Then you will know what the issue is?

You should always have Hispanic negro league players available no matter what.

OK silly question, are the Negro League players even loaded in with the game or do I have to do that myself via an add-on? I've looked all around and can't find any Negro Leagues or players.

They are all included as long as you have the real minor leagues on.

Ah that's probably why they are not showing up in my historical league. I didn't want to deal with minor leagues but I guess that's the only way to get the Negro League players included.

So they will still be in the game even if you have a draft at the beginning and use random players across all eras?

Random players are MLB only.
