The 2017 came and the 2017 season is winding down. I've played OOTP for a few years and never won or made the WS.
The Baltimore Orioles were collapsing as they finished their season against the Rays. These two teams are tied and Baltimore wins the division to go on to the playoffs with 89 victories.
WIld card round was a breeze running through Houston.
On to the ALCS against who better then the TB Rays. Well Baltimore takes a 3-0 lead in series. TB wins 1. Back in Baltimore Britton is having another stellar season when he comes in the top of the 9th to blow the save.
But here comes captain Adam Jones in the bottom of the 9th first pitch a no doubter walk off HR to advance to the WS and play the Washington Nationals.

Has anyone ever almost felt like the game was important like it mattered? When Jones lost it to win the game I stood up at my laptop fist pumping and clapping.

Man isn't OOTP great?!?!?!

Reminds me of playing ootp a couple years ago and my Twins playing game 7 of the world series, and in the bottom of the 12th, with two outs and the bases loaded, my best setup pitcher threw a wild pitch and I lost the WS.

Very very frustrating to lose that way.

What's best is winning a WS in an online league. Especially with live sims. Sitting there watching the score update every half inning and seeing your team slowly pull away in game seven. For the second year in a row! It's incredible!
