Cannot load player database

Hi there,

I'm having difficulty resuming a historical random debut league. As I attempted to load, I received this series of messages:

• An error occurred while loading the database! Could not load players file.
• A problem occurred while loading the league files. Click OK o save the current files in a folder named 'incident' inside your league folder now to let OOTP try to restore your game to the state of the last previous successful save.
• OOTP saved the potentially damaged database files in a folder named 'incident' inside your league folder.
• OOTP restored the league files from the auto-save folder.
• The loading of the database failed. It is either corrupt or a save-game from an old version.

So, that didn't work for me. I also tried this strategy outlined in another thread where the OP had similar issues (http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...php?t=277928):

When I did this my league opened but my roster was full over players that are not on my team. There were also several guys named Jim Unknown who had no history/stats/ratings. League standings were correct, leader boards were correct, but once I clicked on a player I was mismatched to another player's profile.

I did make a recent backup, but that process lead me to the same series of error messages. I feel this problem popped up shortly after the second to last update, but that may have been coincidence...

Any other suggestions?

The league may be corrupt unfortunately. We can check on that.

Would you upload the league files as per the instructions in my sig and create a support ticket as well?

We'll take a look at the league and let you know if anything can be done.
