Weird glitch in the AI management...

In a solo sim I'm doing I just found that the best pitcher in my league has been getting screwed over by his manager for the last 3.5 seasons. See image at link below.

He was the best pitcher in the league, winning 3 Cy Youngs in a row, when suddenly in mid 1904 he begins getting pulled from starts after just one inning or less. I went through some of his game logs, and it seems like he was getting pulled as soon as he gave up a hit in every start for 3.5 years. This is the only player in my league this has been happening to, but it's really got me bummed out because he's a once-in-a-generation talent. And now he's lost 3 years of his prime for no reason.

Has anyone seen anything like this before? And this would've been an OOTP17 issue, not OOTP18, as this sim wasn't in OOTP18 until last season.

Whoa! That's a new one for me. Poor bullpen!

I love how he leads the league in starts but also probably leads the league in least innings pitched.

check out the manager for that team with comissiner mode on... what's his "hook starting pitcher" at?

not that it's reasonable in anyway... but would be good info for the bug report, maybe. look at anything that affects it... maybe there's a mis-typed pitch count or something?

something odd in player eval maybe? like 100% current year stats, or thereabouts?

Check his fatigue. It might me that he has glitched and is never recovering.

I'm playing in 2002 and it is happening to Mark Buehrle for me. Did you ever get a resolution? Right now, I'm watching games with control of substitutions until the 6th or 7th and then letting the manager finish out the game. Any suggestions?
