New GM-only League Forming

The Online Baseball Union is a new OOTP18 GM-only league. I’m trying something a little different than most leagues I’ve played in. The league is GM-only with coaching and scouting enabled. Player moral and team chemistry are also enabled. The players have rights, so the 10/5 rule and right to refuse minors are enabled.

The GMs will be active members in the league management. The league is ready once I find 30 players willing to play and accept teams aren’t being assigned first come first served. We ask for 10 teams you'd like to manage and we'll use a virtual lottery system to assign teams.

The league website has the constitution/rules and join the OBU link. The league has reports, StatsLab, and StatsPlus configured. Most sims will be real-time sims. The league will use Slack for most communication, the forum for trades, and StatsLab for trade block. All is explained in the constitution/rules on the site.

I'd like to take the Cleveland Indians.

We're starting once we have 30 players. Since posting yesterday we have 8 so far. Please read the post and the rules, teams aren't being assigned first come-first served, I'm asking you to list 10 teams when you click the Join link on the site and the teams will be assigned via a lottery. My goal is to ensure everyone gets a team from their list of 10. I already have one player accepting the least popular/most unwanted team for the challenge of it.

We're over half filled and just need a couple more to get this league started. I appreciate the league is different than most but I'm hoping to find a niche - please take a look at the rules, as the commish I'm dedicated to catering the league to the enjoyment of the GMs! The league had some early turn-over (season about to start) and our wait list has been depleted. This is a solid group of guys and if you'd like to get in on the action please visit the site and get on the wait list.
