Ooh. I want this to be a new storyline. (or maybe it already is in there somewhere, but I haven't seen it)

Player X is day to day for a week with a bruised thigh after unsuccessfully attempting to break his bat over his knee.

Applies to: player who is very unhappy about his performance...

Embarrassing personal side story: playing net (hockey)....let in bad goal...smash stick over crossbar..get wood splinter in my eye...after getting wood splinter out realize that I broke my other stick the game before...lesson learned about temper tantrums!!!

A player on the Canadian national team got injured during the World Championships in Europe while play-wrestling a teammate in his hotel room (yes, the men's national team, not the under-12 boy's team).
