Still getting messages after quitting

I am simming a solo league on a daily basis as commissioner. I took over a team because I noticed their roster had been depleted, and I signed players for them to get them back to the 25-man roster. Then I quit as their GM, but I still get messages about injuries and I still see their schedule in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

How do I get these messages to stop and the team's upcoming games to quit appearing in the upper right hand corner? Even though I've quit/given up control of the team, it seems as though I'm still employed by them. How do I completely quit as GM?

You're in commissioner mode, so there are two things you need to do to give the AI control of the team. You need to resign from your job, and you need to not be acting as the team in commissioner mode.

Thanks for the reply. As it turned out, I had not resigned. So I did and problem solved.
