D2D injury with unknown recovery time
Hey gang,
I have a player with a strained back that is day-to-day, but the recovery time is unknown. Originally I placed him on the 10 day DL. He's had the same status for nearly 15 days. My question...does this eventually update the recovery time from "unknown" to a set time or does the injury just go away at some point? Thanks! HP |

no he'll just get well one day. You can always look in the editor to see his exact time off if you want to peek.

It is not uncommon in my leagues for a player to have a DtD injury for many weeks, months. Typically, he is not placed on the DL. Often, though his status is exactly what you describe, he will continue to play in the lineup through the entire injury.
It also matters how substantial the injury is, and if it coupled with another DtD injury. I wouldn't automatically put a player with a DtD injury on the DL. |
