Funny observations

I am in my first offseason and watching all the teams make their moves. I have noticed that the Asian leagues (especially the CPBL) routinely hand out 6 year contracts to marginal ex-MLB players to bring them to their league. Ubaldo Jimenez, Szcur from the Cubs, and Ramon Flores most recently of the Angels have signed 6 year contracts and headed to China. Very interesting stuff.

CPBl despite its name and the chinese government's insistance is in Taiwan not China
