Really shooting fish in a barrel here....by any chance did you check the box for require full minors? Don't see why this would cause issues, but figured I would ask.

I had checked it. That appears to have created an issue moving into Season 2 with incomplete rosters after AI released players/didn't resign players. I did toggle that back to "off" which fixed that issue. But even going 2-3 seasons past that still never generated draft classes.

So for S&G, I went back to OOTP17 and did the exact same thing setup wise. No issues, no muss, no fuss. So it's definitely an OOTP18 issue.

If you have the time, create a quick test league using the historical wizard and leave the "require full minors" box unchecked during creation. See if that changes anything.

Running first year now. Results soon. Pretty sure I've left that off at least once in the three or four I've done, but we'll see.

No dice. Everything appears to work fine up to the point of the draft pool release. No players in it. No players drafted.

I'm glad to see you posted this in the bug forum. Something has to be wrong. I did send a pm to Deja Bru asking for his help. I've read in posts that he plays almost exclusively historical fiction, so maybe he will read your thread and have a solution. Ugh, so sorry you're having no luck.

Ready for a curve ball? I took the OOTP17 league I tried to set up (that worked)...imported it to OOTP18, simmed a season and it worked. So imported leagues work but leagues created within the game don't. That's weird. Thanks for PM'ing him. I've also notified Lukas about the 17 import "fix".
