...to do this.

I want to create a simple 12 team league of fictional teams - but use the current real MLB players as the draft pool

the idea is to take the fantasy baseball teams from me and my oldest friends and throw it into OOTP just to see how it turns out.

I am sure it is possible, I am very familiar with the league setup and settings menus, but I am missing something simple.

can anyone point me in the right direction.

Simple. Start new MLB league and release all players. Delete all but 12 teams, create, load new schedule and click start with initial draft

thanks that was the crude method I had eventually worked out on my own and used and it worked. I was thinking there was something along the line of one option of selecting players available for draft in setup that i was missing.

but it does work just fine, just more work in clearing out all of the embedded data for each team.

next time I do it I think I will delete each team and then create the 12 I want instead of deleting all but 12 and editing them. I believe that will be less time having to remove all traces from say the New York Yankees to the Sea Pine Giraffes
