not enough money to extend contract?

so i tried to extend this players contract but the owner says i have no cash, yet in the picture it shows i got 8 million+ in cash, whats going on?

Do you have offers to other free agents out on the table?

It could be future years that have the issue. As well, the time between offseason start and the FA file can get somewhat confusing, so there could be something there.

If you do think this is an issue otherwise, then please feel free to upload league files (instructions in Lukas' signature) and we can have a look.
