Yeah
Classy Answer!
But what I'd expect from OOTP. Been waiting for 2-3 weeks at least for an to a problem I have with MLB Manager 17. Spend $24 for an app they I don't recommend to anyone. Worked great for a week. Then nothing but problems with zero answer in the BUG forum of MLB Manager 17. Fianlly just took app of my tablet and ate the $24 loss. Chalk it up for "stick with what I know" Thanks for the good work OOTP gang. Markus...got a fine support team |

![]() ![]() I think it happened because it's not actually in the bug report thread, which is here, but rather in a thread someone opened where they simply asked a question about reporting bugs and the general thread as well ![]() Anyhow, now that I see that I'll send a message to Sebastian and see if he can figure out what might be going on there.

Wow
Yes or NO would have been good. I was wanting to start a new league but everytime a update comes out it doesn't affect any leagues you started before. So I would wait until new update to begin a new league if answer was NO.....BUT......Also I'm having problems with MLB Manager 17, left message in BUG FORUM there, LUKAS emailed me. More problems and still no contact from anybody, but I'm just leaving that as $25 donation to OOTP Baseball. I removed from my tablet and have junked it app.
Seems like if not a HALL OF FAMER on the forums we get tossed to the side... |

If you'd sent me another email we'd have gotten back to you sooner, but last I heard from you things were good! We do what we can to help everyone, we couldn't care less how many posts you make on the forums ![]() As for the update, we can't really give a yes or no in most cases as it all depends what happens when we test the update we're working on. If we say yes, and then run into a problem that delays the patch, then we've disappointed everyone.

Right. The OOTP team is about 1000% better than any other team I've ever experienced. They do the best they can. Their rapid responses on this forum attest to that. |

I'd like to point out a couple things.. the development team, or the bulk of it, did take a 2-week or 1-week vacation. the 18.4.45 patch was completely unexpected... when that dropped, they coders came back at or around the same time... it's only been 2 weeks since then. if you consider the vacation time and the unexpected patch for asthetic stuff, it hasn't been that long, even if more are needed.
generally if they know something is "game-breaking," they release an emergency patch... sounds like they simply didn't see your thread ... which was posted in the wrong area... seems reasonable to me. you can see their behaviour by dates of old patch threads and looking through them to confirm what i say. this is how a small operation or crowd-funded type developer works. sorry if ootp doesn't like being lumped into that same category, but relative to this context it is the same. these games are released unfinished... i don't care if it's "better than last year"... LoL that's an exclusive topic from this one and unrelated. (not about this thread, but replies when i say this sort of thing) if you are unaware of these new SOPs of smaller operations, it can be understandable to be a bit angry or frustrated about it. when you realize it's normal, it's still frustrating for anyone who grew up buying video games in the 80's/90's. adjust the perception of it, if you like th game... it will be worth it. i continue playing last year's release until later in the year. i have a league or 2 created in '18 and dink around with it, but i know, relative to my way of playing, i cannot play it in a meaningful way for months after its release. quite frustrating the first year for sure when i would update and that would actually cause a problem 50/50 it felt like... lol culture shock for me! you can read my lil complaints here and there, but it's more of a pressure release valve for me, lol. i always end up say, "...but that's the way it is, now." and if not, we wouldn't have games like ootp or any other indie release or crowd-finded game. as a "hall of famer", whatever the #$@# that means, i guarantee they do not look at my threads more than others. anyone who puts stock into # of thanks or # of posts is / would be quite sad. i've had plenty of questions ignored or missed... i don't say that as a jab, but that it's impossible for a few people to pay attention to 1,000's at that personal level. maybe they should dial that type of personal touch back, so that people don't feel as the OP... might cause incongruent expectations with reality, but also a huge selling point once you see the culture in this particular softwar developer's company. i think they have a happy medium now, for what it's worth. personally, i prefer someone to thank me in a more personal way, not with a button... if it's something small it isn't even expected and a button is just as good. heck, i hit 'thanks' when i agree with something and don't want to repeat it in the thread. oh, hof is from # of posts, isn't it? then that's even less correlated with anything meaningful, lol. see! the "thank" button promotes laziness, not good will!

And you are who? Can you help me with my problem? You shouldn't have opened your pie hole if you can't. You usually instigate half the crap on these boards anyway. |

Bunktown, bro, why are you so mad. It's okay. They're responding. The people on this board are pretty good, generally. I mean, even when I've had sorta heated discussions with some in this thread, a PM fixed it all.
So, please let's just everyone put away the pistols and let's all go home to our families tonight.

That moment when you go to a thread and see the OP is on your ignore list, wonder why, and then get reminded as soon as you hit "view post."

Hall of famers & such
NO one (except 2-3 real employes of OOTP) here knows how long I've been dealing with my problems. Yall don't know yall butthole from a hole in the ground when it comes to this problems. Yall the ones causes the problems by sticking yall dang noses in my business. It's my money that I paid for my games from OOTP. That includes nearly every version OOTP has put out plus MLB Manager17 which purchases this year & the one I'm having problems with that I've already emailed & posted in BUGS Forum for MLB Manager, so just shut the hell up. And you Jimmy-Crack-Corn PADRESFAN, I read stuff on this forum and you are the biggest problem these forums have, you always got to stick your nose in peoples business (we all do, but you just piss most everyone off) which frustrates customers. Just keep yall faces out of my business with OOTP. And for 1 simply question I asked you numbnut Jimmy-Crack-Corn PadresFan started this mess, which LUKASBERGER though was cute I suppose for him to post that GIF for a longtime (longer than most I promise) customer.

And unless I'm going dyslexic or blind, I'm pretty sure Matty A sent you that on point GIF, Lukas actually gave you a pretty good answer to your problem and apologized for it and said he'd shoot a message to Sebastian. I know you're kind of pissed, but name calling and personal attacks on a public forum is just childish. Just deal with the very good tech support and move on. If you're such a loyal customer as you say then you know that things happen and everyone doesn't get what they want, when they want. So just wait a bit, and don't make a fool out of yourself here.

You complain that PADRE causes all the problems around here but you go off 3 times in this thread about how you arent taken seriosuly, how you are chalking this up to lost dollars and a donation to OOTP and how bad PADRE is but your immature posts and whining about others isn't helpful to yourself. They said they missed the problem, sounds like they contacted you and though they haven't fixed it yet, sounds like they will. Sucks that it's not right away but that is the video game world now. BE patient and I'm sure it'll get fixed. Stop with the backhganded insults to OOTP and maybe, just maybe you might get more results |
