Skipping starting pitchers
I'm seeing an issue with my game skipping starting pitchers for no apparent reason. I have it set for a 5 man rotation, and it's set to strict, so there should be no reason for the game to do this.
And yet for no reason that I can find, it will occasionally start my #5 pitcher (it's always the #5). And what's also strange is it will then skip the pitcher who the start was intended for, as if he pitched the game. It'll do this even if the #5 pitcher just threw the day before and is exhausted. The way I'm playing, is simply simming day by day (and watching the Manager's Menu, which is how I noticed this). I uploaded my league file to the ftp as "1921FantasyLeagueRestore". Please have a look. |

Found another clue here....
It's not the #5 pitcher...it's the player himself. Roy McAlister. Even if I place him as a relief pitcher, the game will still start him for no reason. Once I removed him from the lineup completely, the problem seems to go away. |

I haven't opened the game, but make sure you don't have 7-day lineups set with him scheduled to start. If you have that, then that will override the rotation settings.

I don't think I've messed with the 7 day, but I'll definitely check that and report back later when I'm able to get into the game. Edit: there does seem to be a 7day lineup with only that one pitcher in the lineup on one day. So surely that's it? And would this continue on a loop then?
