Activation code

So I have the game downloaded to my Mac laptop. However I'd like to play on my Windows desktop for a better experience. Do I download the Windows version and use the same activation key? Or do I need a new code? Thanks.

It's the same key for Windows, yes. Linux would be different though, just FYI.
