Fictional players added to teams during historical play

I created a 1901 historical MLB league. Historical minors are switched on.

I added an 8 team fictional AAA-level league. Deleted all initially generated players from this league.

I have auto-creation of free agents turned off for both leagues. No international free agents, no discovered players, no independent league discoveries.

As expected, the 8 teams in the AAA league fill their rosters with free agents from the pool for opening day.

During the sim of the season however at certain points in time, 1 or 2 clubs in the AAA league will have their rosters "restocked" with fictional players. I cannot determine why this is happening. The clubs have plenty of cash and there are still free agents in the pool.

I have a league file that I will upload: AHBL2.19010418.tar.gz

(Note that the upload will need to happen in a couple of hours; I'm behind a firewall with the ftp ports closed.)

To reproduce:

1. Sim to the end of the WBA regular season.
2. Look at the Complete Transaction Log for the WBA month by month.

You should see something that looks like this:
