Pitcher Stats Not Possible

In my historical league first few games were fine then nine games in I noticed a story saying Lew Burdette pitched a 0.1 inning no-hitter (???) and lost, so I went to the box score and it shows he pitched 0.1 innings in a very shortened boxscore showing only a few hitters per team with the wrong stats for pitchers as well

Then I went to Burdette's game log screen and it shows the 0.1 inning game three times in a row with those three repeated games totaling nine innings, so the innings are right but the games started are wrong.

He now has 5 games started only ten games into the season

Went to sortable stats and found four starting pitchers with 5 games started each only 9 games into the season, their game log screens all show the same problem

Finally , I could not get access to the save game choice due to overlapping graphics on that side of the screen

I'm simulating the Yankees '17 season and Aroldis Chapman has earned me three saves, but his season stat-line shows him having made one appearance. The rest of his stats are correct.

Looked more closely and batters in that Burdette game and a few other games that day have the same issue, their game log screens show three games instead of one game line with too many at bats. ( BTW it was not a no hitter)

Is this a clue: that day I was playing out the game for the team I manage and saved it mid game, then came back to play it out and finish via the network screen ?

I do have a back-up but I fear this will happen again.
