Missing Acquisition Detail in Player History

Hello all. I'm experiencing an issue where a lot of players don't have their acquisition detail within their "History" tab. For example, when trading for a player, I often like to check how high he was drafted or how much money he received if he was an IFA signing, etc. Unfortunately, while I can see basically all of the player's history besides this (injury history, awards received, etc.) I can't see the way they were originally acquired. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Can you site some specific players (maybe 3 or 4)? I have a feeling a lot of the guys missing history were undrafted free agents signings.

global settings -

make sure you are keeping that info for long enough - transactions, injuries etc..

if you are backing up - do you rename the directory ever? if yo udo this, then use standard backup, you only have new news in the new backup directory (make sense? lol).

if you ever rename a backup to archive, the next backup you do should be a Full Backup. otherwise it only copies over that stuff incrementally... and it has no idea you just moved/renamed the old backup as an archive.

have you ever purged your database? while the game fixes some things, i don't believe injury history is adjusted to the new player id's... something in there doesn't jive after a purge as of ootp'17... likely '18 too.

e.g. ancillary, but your retired numbers will be all f'd up after a purge. from '17 experiences, not '18, yet

i think it shows how they were last acquired in main profile... in 'history' section of player profile it shold show draft and such info. if it's missing or erroneous, it's because the data isn't there or playerid's ahve changed for some reason etc...

when that stuff isn't kept "all", you will see erroneous things, too.
