DtD Oversight?

I like the new detailed DtD injury information. It's cool that if players play while they are DtD they can potentially suffer setbacks. My only complaint is, if you are a relatively hands off GM, there is no way to tell a Manager not to use a player until he has fully recovered. I have an all-star catcher who was dtd for 3 days initially and now has been dtd for almost a month because he keeps getting set back, because the manager keeps playing him lol. I finally put him on the 15day DL, but i don't think its reasonable to have to do that to a player who is only dtd for 3-5 days.

I'm not complaining, just pointing out a potential oversight. Maybe someone has a solution to this that i haven't noticed or considered?

Yep I did this routinely in previous iterations of OOTP. With this new symptom we could use a conditional benching choice ie a left knee contusion could be "bench v RHP" "remove when RHP relief pitcher used"

I also use 7-day lineups to ease certain players back into games and take advantage of a fill-in player on a hot streak. A 7-day sim is the limit for me anyway.
