Have Some Plays Been Eliminated Due To The 3d .. ..

Have some plays been eliminated due to the 3D being unable to support the correct display of it?

I play out most games, so small sample size on 18.
Take the play where the 3rd baseman steps on third for a force out,
then throws to first for a (hopeful) DP.
So in my games, I've seen the opportunity for this play, but it no longer occurs. Or just imagination?

I have played out roughly 150 games on 18 and had that exact play happen last night for the first time. I'm not sure what the frequency is in reality but you don't see it every day.
I don't think I've seen a bases loaded C-1B DP yet.

Step on third throw to first is still there as is the home to first DP. I've seen them both in a pretty small sample size, 25 ST games and now 6 games into my regular season. It is a frequency thing, especially the third to first.

Markus isn't going to remove real life plays for the sake of 3d. Worst case scenario will be the 3d may look "awkward" of "just not right" as it has trouble showing a play in a realistic manner. Though I would guess these things are becoming less and less as things are cleaned up with each new version and on-going patches.

Yeah, I seem to mitigate the C to 1B DP on offense by my batter striking out and my pitchers giving up grand slams while on defense.

I just saw a triple play in my game. The first time ever that I "saw" a triple play in OOTPB. It was choreographed well in 3D: runners on 1B and 2B going with the pitch, SS grabs a line drive and completes the 6-4-3 triple play. Cool . . . especially since it was my guys who pulled it off!
