Minor League Scheduling error

I created a custom, historical league. 1975 with real players. (I am on the STEAM version of the game.)
I went in and deleted all the secondary minor leagues but retained all the AAA, AA and A leagues. (So I deleted like the Pioneer, etc).

I just noticed, in late May, that my minor league teams have only played 2 games. I started poking around and the schedules are completely blank outside of 2 games and then it appears to be a ml All Star game.

I'm not sure why an entire league schedule would be deleted when I didn't touch that league in setup and if it is supposed to do that I think there should definitely be a pop up to remind you to regen a schedule.

So, with no help forthcoming here or the General thread I have restarted a new league. No changes this time, just the default Historical game. Kept all the minor leagues intact.
Result: 2 games plus All Star game again.

Then went to all three AAA leagues and manually generated a schedule. Got the confirmation pop up that schedule generation was successful.
Result: Still just 2 games and the AS game.

Found the issue. In the Settings/League/Options tab if you go to the minor leagues, it does in fact show "2" for number of games. This is on default which obviously it should not be.
I am on the Steam version as that may make a difference.
