HOF criteria

What settings (if any) can I change to make it harder for pitchers to enter the HOF compared to batters. (I want to keep the same number of batters but have fewer pitchers in the halI). I guess my question really is-do your settings for accomplishment (career hits, HRs, RBIs, Wins, strikeouts, etc.) play a role in determining who enters the HOF OR is it determined solely by your HOF voting rules, WAR values, all star selections, player of the year and similar criteria.

Matt Arnold once said that the Milestone Settings have an effect on HOF selection, so if you raise the bar on the pitching numbers, it should have a dampening effect on pitchers being nominated for the HoF.

I've just did a test League changing the milestone settings and fewer pitchers were getting into the HOF and your posts confirms that it wasn't just a coincidence. Thanks for posting.
