Free Agent not on Free Agent List

I just noticed a guy that shows up as a free agent on the MLB Player List screen, but doesn't show up on the Free Agent Screen. His name is in All Caps (I haven't shortlisted anyone) and his player history only has one entry: "Entered league as free agent from an independent league".

Shouldn't he be showing up on the Free Agent List? Or am I missing something. And why is his name in all caps?

when is this visible? by chance is it day one of the offseason?

maybe that's when they get created and not plopped into FA until it begins?

just rhetorical.. if it persists definitely post something about htat in bugs, because that's not right, eh?
