How many rookies were in the 1876 draft for 1877? Asking because it seems my draft has fictional guys in it.

There should be a grand total of 19. See "Batting" section on this page.

I counted 22. Noticed Steve Bellan, John Morrrill, and Whitey Ritterson that were in there.

Steve Bellan should debut in 1871. IRL he was out of the game after 1873. I have no clue as to why he would show up in your 1877 draft. And John Morrill should have been playing in 1876.

Any idea how to fix my draft. I cant go into Commissioner Mode because I am in Challenge mode.

FYI, just because I think it's interesting, Wikipedia says he went back to Cuba and played there 1878-1886.

In my sim i started with ootp 17, Bellan retired in 1873.
I started a test league with ootp 18 and Bellan was not in the draft for 1877.
Could it be retire according to history is not checked?
You might start a new league and see if the same thing happens.

Mr. Bellan, being Hispanic, is probably halted by the Color Barrier. Hispanics will be allowed to cross the barrier in the next patch.
