Signing Injured Player

Just saw this signing in my league and it makes no sense. The guy signed a 1 year deal and will be out the entire year. LA just threw away 8.3 mill for no reason.

Check dates. He's nearly 7 months into a 10-11 month recovery. So you're looking at a late April early May debut. I'd question it based on age and injury type.

I thought that might be it but I hit the editor and it says he still has that much injury time left, not total. Like now I'm at Feb 10th and he has 266 days left which would put him in Nov as healthy.
