Retain Salary bug.
I'm playing as the Red Sox and I traded Chris Sale to the Mets (who has two option years in his contract: 2018 and 2019. Notice that I edited his contract, since in the original version of the game only the 2019 year is a team option) retaining the full amount of his salary for the 2017 season ($12M). The thing is that it is now the year 2019 and the Mets are still charging me his contract (as they did in 2018, too), and according to the manual, I shouldn't be paying for team options when the player is no longer in my organization.
Is this a bug, or team options should actually be charged to me? Thanks in advance! |

You are paying a percentage of his salary for the full length of the contract. Because the team options are part of the contract you traded, they are charged to you.
