Crazy AI drafting in Free Agent Draft

Because this draft is not official and only activated by the user I'm not sure how much work is put into the AI, but the teams in my league make some ridiculous suggestions and are obsessed with picking older players no matter how good they are.

I've had two seasons in a row where the #1 pick has been used on the same half-star 41 year old who hasn't played a game for four/five seasons. Both times he was released by the club before the next season started, when the AI presumably realised that he was completely useless and not even good enough to sit on the reserve roster.

It's got the point where the CPU teams leave so many useful players on the table while pursuing anyone they can find over 35 that I'll have to take over and start drafting myself. There's no issues with the First Year Draft the other league in my game has, there's the odd wacky decision as in real life but generally they take the top star rated players. So I think it's more a free agent draft issue. It's happened several years in a row now, so it's not a one off.

I'd suggest it would be good for a future version if you could set up different types of yearly drafts. For instance being able to hold a scheduled free agent draft with age limits on selections, rather than every free agent in the pool being available.

Just do a FA draft and you'll see the bonkers selections. If you want to review old drafts try 1907 to 1910 - after that I started drafting for all teams.
