Game Crashes Often (Mac)

Running Ootp 18.2.36 on an iMac running os 10.5.5. The game crashes often. It's hard to find some consistency as to when it crashes but here are some examples: I have almanac turned on and when trying to go into the second year of my fictional league during the saving process it crashes. I can't get to the second season. I haven't tried turning Almanac off yet but I'll look into creating another league and trying it with almanac off. I've had consistent crashes in the free agency window after customizing a view. Other crashes are random.

Anyway, I'm hoping the next release fixes my crash problem. I may just have to go back to 17 for now as the game is virtually unplayable for me.
