Manual Import

I started a (random rookies from all years) Historical League and manually imported several Negro League players. However, I was unable to import a fella named Spot Poles. His ID is poles049spo. He is in the default minor league database.

Any ideas?

Try capitalizing the P and the S as in Poles049Spo. You must use the exact code for the import to work. Hope that works anyway.

I have bad news, good news, and bad news. I tried to import him from the minor league database...Import failed...Noticed he was in the SpritzeHSforOOTP17 database...import succeeded...The problem is that none of his RL stats followed him in from the database. In other words there is no "Real Life Stats" tab on his player card, which makes him ultra terribad and unable to hit or play a position.

I was able to import Oscar Charleston from the Spritze database though and his real life stats did follow him in...The mystery deepens.

Tried that and it didn't work.

I got Spotswood Poles (same guy as the one you were trying to get in, different player ID - polessp00) in with his real life stats and his proper FaceGen via the Spritze HSDB for OOTP17. I think the game is objecting to anything that deviates from the standard Lahman player ID code and not bringing in stats for players that don't have it. I noticed this with Spritze HSDB for 16 as well when Spritze added in players without the standard Lahman player ID code in the final edition of it. Can you believe it? The plot thickens...
