2017 season not using actual player pics

Ive downloaded and installed a photo pack, which Ive confirmed has current player pictures

I have facegen disabled

For historical replays, the game is using pics

If I start a 2017 season, its still using facegen pics

What do I need to do so that the game will use actual 2017 player pics that ive downloaded and put in the photos folder?

Just go to the OOTP Baseball 18 folder where you placed the photos. Go to the fg_files folder and delete the contents or move them to another folder in case you want use them in future. Start a new game and the real player pics should be there

Newbie here....

I moved the fg_files out, renamed a file with no data fg_files, and then moved in all of the coach, umpire, player files in, but not just get blanks in the game. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

The only way I found to have real pictures for 2017 season and players appear in profiles was to disable FaceGen entirely. And I had to recreate the league for them to take effect. Doing the "update" and "force update" didnt seem to do anything.

Im sure there is a smarter way. But Im a noob too.

Remember, there are 2 "game settings" areas.

I used the one from the main screen (lower right), which is the screen you load a game and/or create a new game. and went to "3D &Facegen" tab and deactivated Facegen there in one of the dropdowns.

You may have already done this. But Im just pointing out because there is another area within the league/game once you create it that is different. Took me a while to realize it.
