Commissioner mode suggestion

Please give us the option as commissioner to select a league and make it OURS. That way I can select the option to get news from "your league and your organization" and by doing so get notifications to interesting news items, such as players of the week, the month, trades, no hitters etc etc.

I don't manage or gm. I put the game in commissioner mode to avoid getting bombarded with job offers I have no use for. I don't want to manage or gm, I just want to watch. Problem is, once I go into commissioner mode, I no longer have a organization, nor do I have a league

What I do have is a WORLD. Problem is, I'm playing 1952 with historical minors turned on. That WORLD consists of the MLB and some 30+ other leagues. If I select the option for "news from my entire world" I get highlighted news stories, but the stories are from the MLB and all of the 30+ minor leagues as well. All I want is news from the MLB.

This, plus give us the option to follow a Team(s), and select to receive their news.

Yes! I forgot to mention Fan Mode. Would be great to be able to pick a particular team and receive highlights to all the same things a manager or gm would receive.

I agree! In commissioner mode it would be nice to get updates on teams, trades, and maybe even an opportunity to hand out suspensions after brawls. I don't manage a team either generally. I like watching the storylines unfold.

Been watching for a couple versions now. I usually don't run into this issue, as I play a lot of random debut using reserve rosters. Therefore, my league equals my world. But, when you start playing with 30+leagues, it would be nice to narrow things down.

I just think the default should be the main league is your league even if you aren't managing or playing as gm.

I play as GM but have been considering switching to this method myself. In general though, I would prefer to see more options for filtering the e-mails. It feels like all or nothing right now and a lot of junk mail slows me down.
