Scouting a draft class

Have my assistant handling scouting, but year and year I discover players at the draft, even some very highly rated, that are not scouted at all. Aren't the scouts supposed to scout every player at the draft class? Any way, what's the best way to do it? I thought about adding all the prospect to my shortlist and have the scouts scouting that, but it seems awfully time consuming to shortlist all the prospects.

I manually assign my scouts and as such, I just tick the checkmark that says "Use Draft Eligibility", select the minimum potential of players I'd be interested in drafting -- for me it is 2.0+ -- and let the scouts do its thing.

If there's a better way of doing it, I'd like to hear it!

Tried to set it manually at first, but it quickly got frustrating with so much clicking to be done.

Shame there isn't a simple solution for this.

Agreed. There is a lot of clicking involved to do the simplest things.

The game is so good though, that I don't care all that much. I am sure with the evolution of the game, this will be taken care of...although some people still complain about OOTP 18's interface lol.

For FHM, it's much better to have Scouts in Regions rather than scouting specific players. Make sure you have a balance across Canada, the USA, and even Europe and Russia. If all your scouts are only looking in Canada, you're going to miss players, and if you sign some specifically to look at someone, you're going to miss others too.

That being said, you can have some customization if say you want someone watching your Watched List. But I would focus on regions.
