OOTP Hangs on saved game load

Here is a screen shot. It hangs 78% of the way through "Loading Games in Progress." Another league did the same thing, but I thought it was because I had a power failure while playing and it was corrupted. It's always 78% through "Loading Games in Progress."

I have uploaded the league files as PatLindsey.lg.zip

Still happening with the full release. Can't load my saves from the beta. Going to try and start ANOTHER game and see if it crashes when I try to reload it again.

Nope. It wouldn't load either. I then tried to load the MLB 2017 quickstart, save it, the reload it. That worked.

Something must be messed up in the template I saved for those 3 setups.

I am getting this now with my save. It gets to 78% and then dies.
For what it's worth, I get this:

Unhandled exception at 0x012EB63A in ootp18.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x000000A4.

After loading a different save and then coming back to this one, it works.
