GM Strategy

One of the things that I was looking forward to this year was a variability of GM strategies beyond just the "Win Now!" and "Rebuilding" attitudes teams are set to.

I went into Commissioner Mode and looked through some GM strategies. While there are some differences in Overall Roster Strategy, and some variability in Player Valuation, it appears that Trade Strategy is identical for every single GM with everything set at Neutral except for Loyalty which is set at "Low." Same goes for Draft Strategy. Everything is set as Neutral.

Is this going to get an overhaul at some point to better reflect GM attitudes and create some level of variability?

Also, if I create a QUICKSTART after adjusting these on my own, will they stick?

Found two GM's that are not set the same as everyone else: Preller at San Diego and Zaidi from the Dodgers.

Also it appears that no one employed has a rep above FAIR and no one unemployed has a rep above DECENT.

Have you tried simming ahead to the middle of the season? Post All-Star break a lot of variables can change. Teams can switch from nothing or "Rebuilding" to "Win Now" by having a good first half.

They absolutely can. But I'm not talking about team goals. I'm talking about the specific strategy of each GM.
