Problems with the sound

I have experience some problems with the sound effect for a couple of weeks with OOTP 17, and it has been followed to OOTP 18.

There's no crack of the bat, or the strike out scream from the umpire or even the home run celebration.

I can only suggest making sure that all drivers are updated. This has solved the problem for me a couple of times in the past.

I have this same issue on OS X El Capitan. This only happens in 3D view, all sounds appear to work in broadcast view. I'm not exactly sure when this started in OOTP 17 for me, but it is true in 18 as well.

There were a couple of older threads where this was reported with no resolution (I think one for Windows and one for OS X).

And after a couple of months of this, an OS update 'magically' fixed things for me, though there was nothing obvious in the update notes to cause that fix.

If this happens to me I have to reset the computer. Once it comes back on its fixed.
