Game will no load i get an error

everytime I install the game and try to run it I get this message. api-ms-win-crt-runtime-I1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. please help ive done everything from reinstalling to running it in admin. Nothing works.

I have the exact same problem. Tried reinstalling and it did same thing.

This sort of thing happens when you remove a program you don't recognized (c++ redistributable commonly removed for no reason.)... or worse you deleted soemthign from programdata or some other system directory. it may have been years ago, too, lol.... but this is 99.9999% self-inflicted. i only leave an opening for some weird fluke or malvolent software that would never target a redistributable, lol.

Google the missing file name...

what i found with no effort... if it doesn't work you go to the next seach item or start adding relevant words to the search and try again.

Solution

Install Windows Updates:
Go to Start - Control Panel - Windows Update
Check for updates
Install all available updates.
After the updates are installed, restart your computer.
After the restart repeat the steps above again until no more updates are available.

Download the Visual C++ Redistributable:

For Windows 64-bit
Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2017 (64-bit)
For Windows 32-bit
Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2017 (32-bit)

Run the vc_redist.x64.exe (64-bit) or vc_redist.x86.exe (32-bit) and select Uninstall
Run the .exe again and select Install
