Assigning Starting Players For Utility Roles

I am attempting to place Buster Posey as the backup First Baseman but whenever I drag and drop him to the Utility slot, it will not work. If I remove him from the starting lineup I then I can place him as a backup, but as soon as I put him back in the lineup, his name is removed from the utility slot.

Since I want him to play First Base every 6th day, how does one assign him this role? Thanks

Uncheck auto sync lineups
