Yes, you will have different coordinates for the bottom and the right side. Start in the automatic mode and check the coordinates to get a sense of the boundaries, then adjust as you need.

Line drive in this one
It never would have occurred to me to use any other angle besides behind home plate. Very creative and well done, I think I will do this one as well. Or something close to it.

Newcomers to the game may not realize that the widgets can be moved around. First you have to un-check the box that says "automatically set up game screen". If you mess around with it and want the default view back, all you have to do is re-check the box.

Wow! I haven't monkeyed with 3D yet. That looks really impressive. It's really come a long way in two years. Thanks for posting those images.

Ah, that's not the default view? Too bad. The games look great at the angle you set. Nice job.

There's no specs available to input for this but I THINK the camera views are saved in ballparks/models/ (park name) and then the 'parkname' .ootp3d file as that is the only file that has a modified date and time that matches when I was doing the camera views and when I looked in notepad it was mostly ineligible but I could see my camera view names there. So in theory we should be able to share those so others can have the same camera views for that park.

Just need someone from OOTP to confirm if it is that file and if that would work to just replace your own with it.

I must admit I was just playing around with the views really as I like the default and wide ones too, but when I tried it out it in game I was really surprised how much fun it was to view it from there. It really adds something I think. Fly balls are great to see come towards you or you can see them curving and so on. I've only tried changing them in comerica park so far, looking forward to playing around with some other parks to see what views they might have.

My 3D view doesn't look as crisp as this - I take it it's dependent on your graphics card?

I use the small labels as the normal ones do not match up with the players on the field - similar to your screenshot. The small ones do and the normal ones don't for some reason this year.

Probably the screen resolution you have it on. Mine is on 1920*1080.

Yes, I believe that file contains essentially all the 3D park info like camera views, fence positions, etc If you want to share camera views, you can share that file (although obviously note that if you have a custom file for that, it may either get overwritten when you update your game, or may not end up being updated if we make changes to the master files that get installed with the game).

Does the game come with fictional 3D stadiums if so how many? What about old historic 3D stadiums?

That's great to know

So, on that note, anyone who wants those camera views for Comerica Park, here you go......

Please make a copy of your file first just in case.

It's in your documents folder...... OOTP/ballparks/models/comerica_park

It's the file called comerica_park.ootp3d

So, copy that file first so you have the original and a copy

Then place the one that you download below into that folder and choose to overwrite and you should have the camera views I have made for Comerica and your back up of the original file in case.

Here's the file, it's a tiny download... http://www.mediafire.com/file/d8csi5...ca_park.ootp3d

MizzouRah, in your 3D set-up, there is no PBP text commentary?
