question on scouting

I play both solo and online. I never get involved with any league that uses either coaches or scouts. however re scouts actually I want to be the scout for my team and I am willing to spend the time to be a great scout. now if u use scouts what skills does the legendary scout possess that the average scout does not have.

here is what I am wondering. with the info that the game provides on each player do I have access to all the info that I need to be a legendary scout or does the game provide a game scout with more info than I have access to.

if the game provides the computer with more info than I can get as gm that should be changed. how could u play any sports computer and not want to be the chief scout.

my guess is that the game provides us with the same info as the scouts get thus I can't see why any player would not want to be owner,gm, mgr and scout- that's the fun of the game.
