Trust me, if they showed us a screen shot now that is half baked, or not what we'd be hoping for, the forum would be screaming bloody murder.

They want to show us something that will excite us, and that may not exist yet.

When they are ready, and they feel confident with what they have, it will come.

If a month before the release the screens are in that bad of shape, they might have other problems ;-)

I certainly wish them the best.

If they are trying to clean-up some issues, just speaking for myself, I’d be ok waiting a few more weeks. I think my household chores list would appreciate the extra time too!

Things are actually going very well, we're far from crisis mode

Pre-releasing screenshots is always a bit problematic though, since they require approval from several different places now, the process takes a long time and is quite involved.

It's not even remotely as simple as just uploading some screenshots for everyone to look at. It's almost more trouble than it's worth.

That's not to mention that by the time we can release them, they'll likely be outdated given how fast progress moves while we're still in the dev cycle.

Of course once we release the game there will be plenty of screenshots available, on the game's Steam page etc.
