Import Historical Minor Leaguers

In OOTP 18 will we be able to import historical minor leaguers in the same manner we can do with regular historical players? I.e. using the import player(s) function? Thanks!

What I'd like to see is all players...majors, minors, Negro leagues, etc....available in the game, to be drafted by real or fictional teams. Will this be possible?

hi, I've been a long time out of the OOTP world and I've got to say I've missed it and I'm ready to get back into it. The above question from RMc is one that has been burning in my mind - I think I'm right in saying that that isn't possible for a fictional league?
What I really really really want to do, perhaps to the extent of not wanting to play any other way, with OOTP is start in 1871 - take 8 of the NA teams from that season and have them split into a 4 team NL and a 4 team AL. I will then gradually expand each league (and relocate) with ballclubs that actually existed in real life - the players will be actual historical guys who can be drafted by any of my clubs.
My imaginary world is going to be much larger than the real one was so players are going to end up playing more seasons than they did in real life which I'm fine with but at some point I am going to need access to the minor & negro leaguers - am I right in thinking that I cant just have these guys appear in my fictional world to be drafted? Is there a way around this or am I stuck manually finding them and importing them?
Also when the time comes when you can add historical minor leagues - is this not possible if you're in fictional world? Could you for example have a fictional set up but have historical minor leagues and you can manually change who those teams are affiliated to? If so that would be one way around things if you cant get access to minor leaguers in one big draft pot.

oooh - one more question, the minor league/negro league databases....what are the earliest years that players are available to manually enter (if that is the only way)
