Better handling of drafted players

This was brought up in the General forum, but I thought I'd post my suggestion here:

It's been mentioned that in a "real-life" (i.e. non-fictional) league, with the amateur draft, players are automatically assigned to an organization's Dominican Summer League team because that's the lowest-ranked team in an organization.

However, that's not realistic, as the vast majority of drafted players (who are drafted out of the US, Canada and Puerto Rico) are assigned to a team in the Gulf Coast League or Arizona League (or Rookie League teams).

I understand not wanting to hard-code in something that assigns draftees to a GCL/AZL team (especially because some orgs don't have one). But my suggestion is a drop-down box, located on the options page with the other draft options, that allows the user to select which minor league team drafted players should automatically be placed in.

International complex players who "age up" should continue to automatically be placed in the DSL team, because that is realistic.

I'd really, really like to see this as well. That being said, there are some technical issues involved with the coding that make doing this much more difficult than it would appear.

Markus and Matt are definitely aware of the issue, I'm hopeful they can eventually overcome the hurdles in implementing a fix. It might be later rather than sooner though

Been able to sign all Draft Picks to a Contract. Like in NBA/ÑHL own rights to Draft Pick if College or High School person lose rights if not after Senior year if Inter atonal person when ready to come to USA can sign them. Also can send back to Junior Team if still have that option.
Also if have a College Feeder League been able to use Hisrorical People in it meaning Historical Transactions so you would start off with first year College Baseball started and every year the real Historical Freshman would join their Teams. Also could have people declare for Draft Also would help out when creating a Historical League because I notice using 1998 League Drafts aren't that full and Minior League don't have a lot compared to this Year's and Minor League Teams have been full every since their have been Minor Leagues. Using like this year's Teams Rosters like Affliated with 1998 Teams doesn't work becuase most of the Minor Leaguers from this year will Retire right away becuase were to little back then and putting a Hustorical League in a 2016 one you don't get Historical Drafts.

Yes. I have a league where I use a Juniors system. I use higher PCMs so drafted players are already near MLB ready while later picks only require a couple years in the minors. However im really limited as i cant hold player rights and any picks after the fifth round typically automatically sign. This limits me to a 5 round draft.
