Very nice work. Very good thinking. Like being a sleuth. I love detective work. Almost done downloading the parks.

No problem. I wasn't looking to give you more work. Thank you.

And, yes, I have 93 parks downloaded. Thanks, again.

Baker Bowl updates

Believe it or not, here are some updates to the files I just uploaded. I put period signage (at least a best guess) on the 3 Baker Bowl parks.

Wow. They look great. It really dresses it up for the era. I wasn't expecting this, but this is cool. Real nice of you to do these.

I will try my question in the thread...

Most of the parks that I have downloaded from you have the aerial view of the park... how do I change it to the typical press box view?

Thanks in advance for any help...

I think I set them all up for and aerial and wide view. A few had been set up view from left field by someone else, Silvam I assume. Of course you can look at all the view that were with the parks I modified in the 3D Model edit screen using the Edit Camera Views. Most of mine have 2 views overhead and wide. Getting views from the press box could be challenging. As far as I can determine, there is no way to get a view from inside the parks. That is why I had to take out part of roof behind home plate to enable a wide view of the field. You will notice on the park models with closed roofs, e.g. Astrodome and Kingdome there is no complete roof. If there was, you could not see into the park. Maybe some day the developers will come up with a camera angle from inside the parks. If you want to fool around with the views to see if you can come up a view that might resemble a press box view just use the Rotate View and Move View buttons in on the edit park screen. I highly recommend that change the values in the Degrees and Cm boxes to something a lot lower so that you can change the views in smaller increments. I change them to 1 when I set the views. After you get the view you want, select Select Cam then Create New and name it whatever you want. I hope this helps and thanks for the tips for Baker signs.

Braves

Here are Silvam's 3 Braves parks. I put them in eras, 1915-1928, 1929-1936 & 1937-1946. I didn't make any changes to the existing Braves park. I just change the name of the file from Braves1915-1952 to Braves 1947-1952. So, I did not up load that one.

i was wondering i just downloaded and install some parks. They look real good only where the stands are everything is all black. Am i doing something wrong? I went to team park and loaded the obj file in the 3d park and saved . What all do you do to loaded everything correct. Could it be some of my settings? I have a windows 10 machine with a built in video chip.
Thanks for any help

Read the previous posts on this thread. Adion might have a suggestion what to do.

I also have windows 10 with on board graphics. I have AMD radeon 3000 series. I don't see any crowds in my parks. I am getting a new graphics card. My on board graphics is outdated. Have to upgrade.

I absolutely love the work you've done. I started on a similar project but did not have the patience for it...so, so glad that you have it! Dumb question though, what is the deal with 3D crowd? Perhaps I have only seen 3D crowds because I don't see any difference. Does it mean that it changes based on the attendance for that day?

... So when I download the parks that I see in this thread, the camera view of the ballparks after the downloading will not match how they are shown in the thread?

(I would like the camera view of the downloaded parks to match exactly how they are displayed in this thread)

unfortunately, I created the 2D screenshots from sketchup.

I do try to recreate the the view in all of my parks in the "overview" camera angle.

You can always fool with the cameras and make it more to your liking in the game

After putting the files in the Models folder inside the Ballparks I got them to work. There was files that gave me trouble,
Atlanta-Fulton_County_Stadium 66-72
comiskey_park-1960-90
KC_Municipal_Stadium-A's-55-67

These when loading Made the game turn all white except the stadium picture and locked up the game.I had to use task manager to exit the game.
Since it's only me having this trouble i'm sure it's something with my card or system.

I must say thank you for all your hard work for these wonderful files.

There is something about all white. Check earlier pages of this thread. Maybe page 6. I will give a look for it.

Thanks go to Silvam who created these wonderful parks and to Adion who adds the backgrounds and 3D crowds to them.

I check for the file point_light_paralax.frag and didn't see it in place where it showed me to get it, but i could be just blind since i'm pretty old, wanted to use parks all in the 60's should prove that. So maybe someone could upload the file for me.
Thanks
