Custom league - Fantasy mirror

Hi guys, sorry if this seems a really dumb post but is it possible to create a custom league where you can set the team names and all of the rosters from day 1?


Basically, I'm intrigued to recreate one of my fantasy leagues in OOTP to see how the season might pan out for my players.


Also, do you think this could be classed as unfair advantage in a fantasy league?

Yes just creat the league name the teams and in league settings click fill team with fictional players and the entire league will have a full squad

I don't think this at all - as awesome as OOTP is, I don't think Markus and Da Boyz have any special gift when predicting the actual future.

There are plenty of other easily accessed sources (magainzes, websites, etc.) for 2017 MLB predictions, projections and anticipated results anyway.

You are better off...much better off...using systems that are designed to actually predict the future. Like PECOTA or ZiPS or Steamer. Not saying OOTP can't do this, but it's made as a game not a predictor...so no, if you're comparing it to using those systems then it would actually give you a disadvantage. That said, OOTP ratings are based off those predictors so if you are in a very lay league where people don't do research and/or look at predictions then OOTP might give you a slight edge.
