Am I Missing Something On This HR?
311ft home run to right field, but the right field wall is 380 ft away?
Not that it matters, I'm getting tuned. But that seems odd. |

I'm not familiar with Fenway and I thought that line wall was still to the right of the foul pole. Dang it.

The real mystery should be how Sandoval got his hands on playing second base...

I can almost guarantee you it's because Sandoval came into the game as a substitute and instead of putting him at 3B the AI shifted Moncada from 2B to 3B, and put Sandoval at 2B, because you know it has always been this way.

it's a joke that mlb plays in drastically different parks. simply stupid
some of them are complete circuses, like boston and is it houston that has a %$#@ing hill in centerfield for someone to blow out their knee? oh, and let's put flagpoles and other odd things in the field of play... think of all the blooper reels we can accumulate of a pro fumbling around a flag pole that has no business being in the field of play. maybe even cause a play to be ruled a ground-rule <whatever> or however they rule an unplayable situation and take away the opportunity for the game to make that determination and give it to an umpire... since we go to the games to watch umpires to make judgement calls on whether a guy "would have" gotten to 2nd or 3rd base during the time the baseball got lodged behnd something so ******ed for being onthe field in the first place. just wonderful design Last edited by NoOne; 02-17-2017 at 07:09 PM. |

at the very least a much stricter rules regarding them.
wall height, lenghth at any point in the outfield etc... you know if they merely said 330 down the lines and 410 to center, some idiot would put crooked walls out there between left and center and/or right and center. i'm of the preference that hte field be the same, but as an intermediarry for the vast majority of people that can't understand change for the better, itmay be a necessary step, lol..... ever see What about Bob? baby steps! they took the hill out? well did they take a decade to come to that conclusion? i know it didn't happen for quite a few years at least. i'm pretty sure a couple parks have a flagpole or somethign still in the field of play, lol. i don't watch many games outside my home team, though --rarely see NL parks.
