[ 17.3 ] Help required setting up historical game world

Hello, all.

I tried posting this on the subreddit but no one responded, so I gave it a couple days before bringing the question here.

In short, I'd like to start a game world in the year 2000 that also incorporates the other major leagues. If I start a historical game, the only league available to me is the MLB. If I try adding a league to that world, it resets the year to 2016. If I change the year back to 2000, the ages of players are wrong, or the wrong players exist when they shouldn't.

For example, here are the scenarios I'm encountering:

1. The game year is reset to 2016. I change it back to 2000 and end up having players aged incorrectly, i.e. Manny Ramirez is aged 43 instead of 27, as though the game year is still 2016.

2. The game year is reset to 2016. I change it back to 2000 and end up having players in the game world who shouldn't exist in the game world, i.e., Francisco Lindor exists as a 6-year-old prospect.

3. The game year is reset to 2016. I change it back to 2000 and end up having players in the game world who shouldn't exist in the game world and are aged incorrectly, i.e. Francisco Lindor is aged 22, as though the game year is still 2016.

I've been wracking my brain for a week trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong, and no guides I've found quite help me out. I've searched reddit, Google, and these forums, and unless I'm missing something obvious, no one else is having or has had this problem. It feels like I'm missing something completely obvious.

All I want is to start a game world in the year 2000 with all the leagues active, but for some reason I can't get it to work.

Here's the kicker, though: I got it to work ONCE, but I deleted that game world because I forgot to set the parameters for the ages of created players, and so I had hundreds of players under the age of 16 (and some were already three- and four-star prospects, some under the age of five), and I had thousands of players over the age of 40, some nearing 100, with great ratings. I've got no idea how I got the game world to be what I wanted it to be (all leagues in the year 2000) and I hate that I can't remember.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong forum.

Thanks in advance!
