The one thing I want most
I will admit it, I have a disorder. Not quite OCD... but close. This disorder has driven me to spend far more hours setting up OOTP games than ever playing them. This disorder involves, of course, logos, ballcaps, and uniforms.
For me, every team MUST have them. And I don't mean the generic ones. They look god-awful. Less god-awful than in years past but still not good. Now OOTP has historical logos for major league franchises and that is great. But no caps or uniforms. Seeing the 1929 Yankees wearing the 2016 uniform completely kills the game experience for me. The minor league teams are even worse. Modern logos, caps, and uniforms only. Hey, two versions ago we didn't even get that. I get it, it's a step forward. But it's a bite off the sandwich when we really want the whole thing. What I would love to see, more than ANY other feature, would be a complete set of logos, uniforms, and caps for ALL the minor league teams and leagues that progress as the game progresses. Ditto for the Major League teams. Heck they don't even need to be 100% historically accurate so long as they are plausible. Because the first thing I'm going to do when I get OOTP 18 is go into the caps, logos, and jerseys directories and delete everything in them and start again making or copy/pasting a complete set of logos, caps, and uniforms. It may be too late for 18 but I can still hope. And ask for 19. |

Check the OOTP Mods site. There is a complete historical uniform and ballcap set that can be easily copied into your game folders.

For the MLB teams yes. There are excellent renditions of caps and uniforms from every area thanks to the hard work of our community of modders.
But not for minors. Beginning around 2000 it's pretty easy to build a complete collection of MiLB caps and jerseys and some of the bigger leagues like the PCL, IL, AA, SA & Texas League there are many to be found. By no means is it complete. But the older teams and smaller leagues going from 1921 to 1999 (getting better as we move into the modern eras) it gets really spotty. I've started building a collection the fills in the gaps. They are nowhere near the quality of TXranger's work or some of the other major contributors but it works for me. But it is a huge undertaking and it would be nice not to have to do it. The problem with this idea for the OOTP crew are:
